1/4 mL cups/60 red wine vinegar
2 mL tablespoons/30 olive oil
2 mL tablespoons/30 steak sauce
1-2 cloves garlic minced
1 mL teaspoon/5 fresh sage (1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL dried sage)
1 mL teaspoon/5 fresh savory (1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL dried savory)
1 mL teaspoon/5 sea salt (more if preferred)
1/2 mL teaspoon/2.5 dry mustard
1/2 mL teaspoon/2.5 paprika
While Carne Asada usually means beef, this marinade works just as well on chicken or pork. If you want to put together a delicious Mexican dish, then this is a great marinade to start with.
